For whatever reason, Garmin devices will occassionally have issues loading GPX files. It's come to our attention that Garmin is no longer updating their Basecamp software, so new GPX extensions and other related updates may not play well with Garmin. But, there's a pretty easy workaround if you encounter a GPX file that won't load into your Garmin device.

- Take the existing GPX file and convert it to XML format using the Dotwalker XML Converter
- Convert the XML file back to GPX using GPSvisualizer (be sure to select GPX as your output)
- Export the new GPX file from GPSvisualizer and load that into Basecamp and your garmin device.
