Description
This is a bucketlist trip. The type of trip you'll enjoy telling your kids, and their kids when the that time comes. We'll be taking on the North Rim Grand Traverse with a small group of folks. This is an extremely remote route, and you'll need to plan to carry extra water, food, and fuel given we'll be spending a significant amount of time off the grid. If you would like to join, please provide the following info:

- where you will be traveling from
- your rig
- confirm you are available (have you requested time off from work).

A group of us did a similar route a few years ago although we started on the west end. It was a lot of fun. You can figure on a full day getting from the schoolhouse to Kelly Point. Most of the road is a rock garden making it very slow going. Most of us started with a total 50 or 60 gallons of gas and we still ran short. Had to head out to ST. George for fuel and then head back on to the strip. The last I heard the Bar 10 no longer sells fuel to travelers. Hope you all have a good trip.

Hey @OTG Ben! Looks like a great trip. Is the starting date 6/15 @ the North Rim Visitor Center as listed or 6/17 (first day of trail run)?

Good catch, should read June 17 as the start date for meeting at the north rim visitor center.

Glad to have you join this one! The big thing for this trip is carrying extra fuel. You're probably going to need a good 30 gallons of extra petrol (50+ total) given your setup. I'll be posting more info as the date nears.
