I am going to the Ajo area this Sunday. Leaving from San Anselmo in the am. Staying overnight at Sawtooth CG then on to Ajo on Monday.
I’ll do a one day loop around Ajo Mtn, stay nearby Mon. night the Buenos Aires refuge Tuesday. Wed to Arivaca then Ruby Road to Pena Blanco lake. Going to take some side roads along Ruby. Don’t know where I’ll stay that night. Next, down toward Nogales. Fuel up and head toward Patagonia. Possibly overnight above Patagonia. Then North toward a bunch of trails I’ve never done before. Mostly softroading as I’ll probably be alone. I’m just going to wander after that, maybe over to Anza Borrego for a few days.
If anyone wants to join me pleas PM me. Don’t announce it here. This is not an OTG official trip.
