Anza Borrego Question - Route to Harper Flat?

Hello All, I head out next week for Anza Borrego with some guys in jeeps who are going to hit Pinyon Mtn Rd and "The Squeeze". My F250 won't fit. I need to meet them on the other side of the Squeeze and the drop. I've been that way via Fish Creek Wash, but I wondered if there's a route from the north sooner, off of 78 or Kane Spring Road, down to Harper Flat. Nothing shows on my maps, but satellite view on Google makes it look like there's a route. Anyone know? Thanks.

Wish I had an answer for you, however I have never been there. The only wisdom I can give you is you never know until you go! Plan the route as best you can, download the maps then go!

@Rfeustel The issue you're referring to was one of the challenges I faced when building the Anza-Borrego route several years ago. Unfortunately, Pinyon Mountain is the only shortcut throug the mountains if you're in a vehicle. You'll need to jump on pavement to meet your jeep buddies on the other side of the slot.

Thanks, Ben. This is indeed the way. Up to 78 and across to the east entering by Fish Creek Wash, or head south to Canyon Sin Nombre then up and over the Diabolo Dropoff.
