Hi Rolando. We are interested depending on logistics. If I'm seeing the latest it looks like total dates in Mexico are 11/9 - 11/17. We are in Oregon and would like to caravan with you from Northern California. How many days to get from your place to the border? Will you be camping every night? We would be driving our 4x4 Sportsmobile camper van.
Hi. From my house it’s take about 12 hours to the border. Basically I’m planning to leave my house on the 11/8 around 2:00 o’clock and drive for about 6-7 hrs and stop at the leggett rest area on highway 5, take little nap and leave the rest area around 2:00 A.M. to be at the border around 6:00, stop by to get the FMM ( Mexican tourist visa) and start going down into Baja. I will be taking highway 5 at Williams Ca. and definitely we can caravan down, yes we will be camping every day at either a pay campground or will look for a safe place to spend the night. I prefer pay campground just to feel more safe and they are not that expensive may $10-$20 dollars a night, some are better than other, but be prepared to used your own equipment just in case (toilet , shower etc). Yes. It’s one of the reason I am going there. I will visiting some of my favorite places before the race and on Friday before the race I will be start coming back to find a place to see the race on Saturday morning. I was at the Baja 400 last month. Thanks
