Hey everyone, please note the meetup location has changed to the Telsa Supercharger in Laytonville. The last available gas on the way to Usal Beach is in laytonville, so everyone can fill up berfore heading to the meetup location.

Well, this is the first time I can remember spending $100+ on fuel. On the bright side, locked and loaded and about 90% packed (aside from the perishables and expensive camera + drone equipment, which never gets stored overnight in the vehicle.

Thanks for the heads up Kerry. We'll be taking our time working our way north, and you may catch up to us on Saturday night! We'll be at AW Way County Park/Campground on Mattole Road near Petrolia. If you're not planning on camping at Usal on Friday night, we'll be at either Tolkan Campground or Nadelos Campground in the Shelter Cove Area. I need to see if Tolkan is capable of hosting a group of our size, but I know Nadelos has space.

Thanks again to everyone who made it out! I must admit, I was a bit anxious about this event, but with such a great group of people, it really turned out to be much easier than anticipated. I hope everyone else enjoyed the trip as much as I did, and hopefully our paths will cross again soon-- perhaps at a future Trail Run or Trail Camp event!

I will be editing and chopping up all the video into a video route guide that should be posted in the next 4 weeks. With my focus on capturing video, I didn't get quite as many photos as I normally would. Here are a few from my smartphone-- but still need to see what's in my DSLR camera.

My takeaways from such an awesome weekend:
- We need to get more Trail Run Events going (we here you Oregon and SoCal!)
- Create a forum for camp recipes
