I'm wondering if there would be any interest in running the OTG New Idria Route (with a couple mods) Oct 20-23?
General Idea would be:
Sun Oct 19
(Optional Meet up at Hollister Hills)
Mon Oct 20
-Meet in Gonzales, gas up
-La Gloria Road
-Old Hernandez Road
-Lunch at Laguna camp or Sweetwater
-Goat Mountain
-Camp at Oak Flat or Jade Mill Campground
Tues Oct 21
-Goat Mountain Road if not done
-Clear Creek Management loop (counter clockwise)
-“amazing campground”
Wed Oct 22
-Pass through New Idria Ghost Town
-air up and burn pavement
-explore Tumey Hills BLM
-camp in Tumey
Thurs October 23
-Break Camp, head home!
