Firearms
This is a family friendly event. We ask that you keep your firearm stowed away in your vehicle at all times. We'll be traveling through BLM land and Kofa Wildlife Refuge. Please make sure you are familiar with regulations for each land management agency.
Pets
Well behaved dogs are allowed. If your dog becomes aggressive towards participants or other dogs, we may ask you to keep them in your vehicle.
Fuel & Gear
We'll make one stop along the way for fuel in Blythe (about 180 miles from the starting location). We also recommend bringing a good pair of hiking shoes as we'll do some short hikes over the duration of the trip. All vehicles should have a full size spare.
Medical Info / Emergency Contact
Please print a copy of pertinent medical info and emergency contact info (at least two persons) on a card/piece of paper, and have this attached to your visor.

Along the way we'll visit:

Camp: Kofa Wilderness, Valve 2 Road
Mileage: 65 mi
Along the way we'll visit:
Day 3 |
Camp: Duck Spot or OxBow Rec Area along the Colorado River
Mileage: 55 mi
Along the way we'll visit:
Day 4 |
Camp: We'll push towards Eagle Mountain RR Trestle getting as far west as we can
Mileage: 70-90 --> Refuel at Wheelies Mini Mart just past Ox Bow rec area
Along the way we'll visit:
Day 5 |
Camp: Painted Canyon
Mileage: 50-70
Along the way we'll visit:
Day 6 | Head Home!

- Gold Eye mine
- Blythe Intaglios
- Colorado River
Day 4 |
Camp: We'll push towards Eagle Mountain RR Trestle getting as far west as we can

- Roosevelt Mine
- Charcoal Kilns
- Bradshaw Traill overland route
