Another Mojave road trip

Hey, we’re planning a trip next weekend, February 12. Going to be 2 of us (rigs), and hopefully planning to cross the Mojave road, at least the parts that are open. Are we crazy for going when there is a possibility of rain? Any advice would be appreciated

If you're talking about a "normal" rain event (aka not a flash flood), generally speaking, the only thing you need to be mindful of is crossing Soda Lake, which you should avoid when wet as you could get stuck. However, it doesn't look like you need to worry about rain given the current forecast.
