Black Dragon Canyon E2W into the Swell

I have a buddy who wants to do the trip with me I have put together for a small group through the San Rafael Swell in September. We all drive Tacos and 4Runners…he drives a stock F150 4x4. Would he be able to make it through Black Dragon Canyon from E to W?

I've been through there a few times. Generally, I'd say the F-150 would have no problem, but the section through the wash can change dramatically with a single rain. I'd say give it a try and if it doesn't work out, you can always just take I-70 to the Temple Mtn Rd exit.

Thank you, Kevin. I’m hoping he can wheel up the wash with us. But yes, Temple Mtn Road is an alternative.
