I'm planning a trip from Lake Pillsbury to Covelo the first week in April. The idea is to follow the M1 or M6/M61/M1 and find a spot to camp for a few days.
The snow levels look good for now, though Hull Mtn might get some snow tonight.

Here's a pic of a campsite near the Eel River near Bloody Rock. A 2 mile hike from the M6 that I did in January.
