All participants will be required to prove current or retired First Responder status.

The Basics/ Things to Know
Terrain: Typical trails are maintained dirt roads with some rockier parts. Due to the weather patterns during the winter, some roads may have deep ruts.
Vehicle Requirements:
Fuel: Given the uncertainty of road conditions, we are recommending everyone’s vehicle have a range of 300 miles or carry extra fuel.
Day 1
Mileage: 30-40
Camp: Bowman/Fordyce Lake Area
We'll depart from the meetup location and take Bowman Lake Rd to Bowman Lake. On the way to camp, we will take a 12 mile, round trip detour to Grouse Ridge Fire Lookout. Due to all camping in this area being “first come” we have picked multiple group campsites in this area. Once we find a suitable campsite, we will set up our base camp and enjoy the night.
Day 2
Mileage: 30-40
We will explore the east area of Bowman Lake including Fordyce Lake.
Mileage: 30-40
We will explore the northern portion of Bowman Lake.
Mileage: 30-40
Fuel: Refuel in Truckee, Ca
Break camp and go home.
