I refer to this vehicle as "The Beast". Photos were taken in Black Rock and High Rock Canyon

Nice rig! I love the popup! I've been thinking of building a box for my truck with a full length popup. Did you build it yourself?

You've gotta post your rig ;). Tell us what the heck that thing is and where you take it!

I will, I promise! I just painted the cab and put in a new interior, but I still need to paint the cargo box sides. I was hoping to take it on the Eastern Sierra trip, but I'm on the standby list. I have had it up Loon lake for snow wheeling and up on Mt Hood in Oregon. It's a 1998 ex military M1078 and also known as an LMTV (light medium tactical vehicle). Picture from last summer on Mt Hood.

I didn't build it myself. It was manufactured by Earthcruiser which was based in Bend, OR. They closed their doors April 25th of this year. Sad. They had been making them for 16 years.

@SasquatchRacing Have you looked at the camper kits that Custom Composites offer? You can effectively have them cut all of the panels to your specs, and then you, or a reputable shop assembles it.

They were probably doing good during the pandemic, but like a lot of RV companies, struggling now. Too bad. I still see ads for them on Facebook all the time though🤔

I'm in. We drive the 2023 EC Terranova on the F350 platform. Would love to get together with some other big trucks!

I just got back from the East Mojave Heritage Trail run. Two full size rigs, including Ben's Ram. My truck is still a foot wider and way taller. Even in the desert I had a hard time fitting on some obstacles and weaving between Joshua trees and Creosote bush. Lots of pin striping now. A full size and bigger run would be great though.
