Fuel Container Options

I have a 2019 Tundra with no camper or bed rack. I do have bed rails though.

I was wondering what are some good options for a fuel container that I may be able to secure to the bed rails. Can I just go to Harbor Freight and get a gallon container? Or does someone know of a specific one that is made to secure to a truck bed?

Also, for those that have a fuel container, what do you do with the unused fuel after a trip? I know water accumulates inside the can if stored for a while. Do you dump it in your vehicle and restart with fresh fuel before a new trip?

Thank you!

I use both five gallon Jerry cans, that I hold In place with ratchet straps, and two gallon RotoPax on one of their mounts. RotoPax has a mounting plate for Toyota bed rails. After the trip the fuel goes in the vehicle‘s fuel tank.

Always put any canned fuel in vehicle as soon as trip I'd over. Gas can go bad in three to six months. Old bad fuel will kill your engine.
