Current Status: Open with some issues

Additional Details: Recent storms have made higher elevation trails impassable, with snow approaching 3' at higher elevation. Holcomb Valley and the Gold Fever Trail currently under 1-2' of snow, with lots of mud. High risk of getting stuck if you go with the current conditions.

Current Status: Jacoby Canyon (3n61) is currently closed and impassable due to a large landslide. Partial closure of Mill Creek Road (2N10) on the eastern end near the Radford Truck trail (south of Big Bear Lake). Be sure to check out the map so you understand what parts of the road are closed. Closure map for the Radford fire can be seen HERE.

Additional Details: While there are closures along the main route, it is still possible to do the track. To avoid the closure along Mill Creek Road, take road 2N10 back to Big Big Lake shortly after passing Boulder Group Camp. You can burn pavement until jumping back onto the track near the Big Bear Gold Course.

To bypass Jacoby Canyon, you can use one of the alternative tracks listed in the route guide. The Jacoby Canyon bypass provides a paved option to jump onto Holcomb Valley Road. If you're looking for something a bit rowdier, consider taking on Gold Mountain.
