Shasta Overland Rally (Aug 22-25)

I expect there will definitely be a small group of kids in attendance. Unfortuantely, I've gotta head up Thursday AM so my 9yo will be staying at home this weekend. It's also a popular spot with locals, especially the swimming hole-- there's almost always a sizable group of kids at the campground.

Just polling attendees if there will be a few kiddos in camp? I know at Mendonesia there were a handful and I’m packing my 8yo son.

I missed that Mendonesia one. Sounds exotic.

I’m leaving tomorrow as well from the Reno area. Camping at Usal on the lost coast trail. Thursday morning continuing up the lost coast trail to base camp.

Shasta Base Camp, what a great time meeting and visiting with everyone. I got home yesterday the 29th via the coast range and down through the Alvord BDRX. What an experience. Arriving in camp at 2030 doesn’t cut it but it all worked out. See attachment
